LaTisha M. Dorsey is a servant leader and devout Christian. She has a heart and compassion to serve others. Through her passion to serve, LaTisha founded Serenity Servant Services in May 2022.
LaTisha’s life was drastically changed in November 2015. She heard the word that no wife ever wants to hear about their beloved spouse…. CANCER. Her beloved husband, Oliver, of over ten years was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Oliver had always been her rock, protector, and provider. Suddenly, there was a shift in their roles and LaTisha had to stand on the covenant promises she pledged to Oliver and before God on April 25, 2009.
During Oliver’s five-year battle with cancer, LaTisha’s faith was tested; however, it was during this laborious trial that she experienced the Agape Love of Christ through her church family. It was through their acts of kindness, words of encouragement, and daily prayers she felt the unconditional love of God.
On January 14, 2020, Oliver transitioned to be with the Lord. After the traumatic loss of her husband, she began the long and arduous journey of healing, self-discovery, and identifying her God-given purpose. At the culmination of her spiritual trek, LaTisha was licensed as a Certified Christian Counselor. As CEO of Serenity Servant Services, she helps others navigate the tumultuous grief waters with the love of God.
LaTisha is originally from Farmington Hills, Michigan, and currently resides in Lawrenceville, GA.
